A Strong Foundation
Roehrenbeck Electric, Inc. was founded in 1964 by Ronald J. Roehrenbeck. Ron was a young man from the south end of Columbus who had dreams of leaving his pizza business behind and becoming a master electrician contractor. Thanks to his unwavering work ethic and ultimate trust in the Lord, Ron built a strong foundation for the company has been able to continue to build upon for years to come.
Second-Generation
Fast forward, Roehrenbeck Electric is now a second-generation family-owned and operated company led by Ron’s son, Richard R. Roehrenbeck. Under Rick’s leadership, the company continues to steadily grow with a focus on design build engineering, technology, and safety. With upgraded programs, shop renovations and continued workforce and systems development, Rick has the company set up for success for generations to come.

The Shop
In 1973, Ron Roehrenbeck purchased 6 acres off Refugee Road and began to build The Shop, which is where we are still proudly located today. The location is situated centrally in Columbus which provides easy access to job sites all throughout the Greater Columbus area. In late 2024, upgrades and additions to the existing shop buildings and infrastructure began. These renovations will provide more space for job staging and storage as well as event space for our company rallies and picnics.
